Pillar Center Piece

This center piece is a pillar candle set onto a pewter plate, surround by skeleton leaves.
Things you will need, plain white plate or plate with a simple design. For best results, use a pewter plate. One pillar candle 9″ tall. Foam Ring that will fit around your candle. Beard Moss. Skeleton Leaves (color of pillar). Glue. Dried berries or other colorful small items. And about 5 to 10 min’s.
The first step is to place the foam ring around your pillar. Next glue the beard moss around the foam, covering all the visible foam. Now you take your leaves and layer them around the candle, using a drop of glue, place them on the moss butting up against the pillar. But don’t glue them to the pillar. Last place dried berries under the leaves. The drieds will show beautiful through the translucent skeleton leaves. That is it. You now have a decorative centerpiece. And when the candle is gone you can simply place another candle in the ring. When the candle is lit, it will glow off the pewter plate, adding a warm glow to your center piece.
